The Houston Domestic Worker Conference is specifically for nannies, housecleaners, and caregivers who work in private residences. This essential labor is often undervalued. But without those of us who care for homes and families, the aged and the vulnerable, many others would be unable to work outside the home. Our goal for the conference is to honor this caring labor and empower domestic workers though skill-building and education. 

The conference will be on Nov. 10th from 9-5pm at the Dominican Sisters of Houston, 6501 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77021 and will be bilingual (English and Spanish). The cost is $5 if they register before Oct. 20th and $10 afterwards. La Conferencia de Trabajadoras del Hogar de Houston es específicamente para niñeras, limpiadores de viviendas y cuidadoras que trabajan en hogares residenciales.
